What this service is
Vetted Remodel is a contractor referral service, not a contractor. We connect homeowners with independent licensed contractors. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any construction work. Any project you undertake is a direct agreement between you and the contractor you hire.
Free for homeowners
The matching service is free for homeowners and creates no obligation to hire anyone. Contractors pay us a referral fee for introductions. You never pay us anything.
Consent to be contacted
When you submit the request form, you agree to be contacted by phone, text, or email by Vetted Remodel and one matched licensed contractor regarding your project, as stated in the consent checkbox on the form. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We send a one-time text message to verify your phone number before matching.
About the contractors
Contractors we refer represent to us that they hold an active CSLB license and carry insurance. They are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. We encourage you to verify any contractor's license at the California Contractors State License Board (cslb.ca.gov) and to get your agreement in writing before work begins.
Accurate information
You agree to submit accurate information about yourself and your project, and to request a match only for a real project at a property where you are the owner or an authorized decision-maker.
Limitation of liability
We provide introductions only, on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Vetted Remodel is not liable for the acts, omissions, work quality, pricing, or conduct of any contractor, or for any dispute between you and a contractor. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under law that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
